Our A+ rated triple-glazed windows are the perfect choice for a warm and energy-efficient home. The third pane of glass improves heat retention, helping to save on your energy bills.
Triple glazing is ideal for north-facing windows or those where there isn’t much natural sunlight. Here, it provides the best insulation properties compared to double glazing. This means a triple-glazed window isn’t always needed in every room. Mix and match your windows to suit the aspect and elevation of your home.
Triple-glazed windows have three panes of glass, one more than double-glazed. The space between the glass is filled with an extra layer of insulating inert gas, like argon. Together with the third pane of glass, triple glazing often has a higher energy rating than double glazing. It helps to keep your home warmer, quieter and safer.
Our triple glazing is A+ rated as standard, but can reach up to A++ with uPVC flush windows. Increased efficiency means you use less energy to heat your home, lowering your bills.
Add Value to Your Home
Triple glazing improves overall energy efficiency of your home, increasing your Energy Performance Certificate score. Getting a higher rating will add value to your home.
Decrease Outside Noise
The three glass panes reduce external noise penetrating your windows. Perfect for city homes and those on main roads.
The extra insulation in triple glazing means a warmer inner glass pane. This lowers the chances of condensation forming when humid air meets cold glass.

Triple glazing is definitely worth having, if not at least considering, for your home. It has very good energy ratings, meaning it keeps your home warmer, reducing your energy consumption and your bills. That can add value to your property, helping increase its EPC rating. North facing windows and areas of the house that don't get much sunlight benefit the most.
Is triple glazing better than double-glazing?
Triple glazing is better than double for colder rooms because of its insulation qualities. It stops heat escaping the rooms that need it most. However, double glazing works better in south-facing rooms because it lets in more of the sun’s heat, but doesn’t lock it in like triple glazing does.
How long do triple-glazed windows last?
How long triple-glazed windows last depends on their frame material and where they are placed, but they can last for from 20 years upwards. With proper care and maintenance, this can be even longer. Our White Knight uPVC in our triple-glazed casement and tilt and turn windows hold the BBA accreditation, which means they can last more than 35 years.
Does triple glazing cost more than double glazing?
On average, triple-glazed windows cost about a third more than double-glazed. This is due to the extra materials required to make triple glazing. Typically this means you are paying for a higher energy rating than double glazing, to keep rooms warmer for longer and reduce the amount of heating you use. There is usually a bigger saving over time versus double glazing.
Is triple glazing good in summer?
Triple-glazed windows are good in summer, but it depends where they are in the home. Triple glazing lets in less of the sun’s heat, retains more warmth and reflects it back into your room more than double glazing. So installing it in rooms that get a lot of sunlight would make them hotter than if you had double glazing, even though they let in less of the sun’s heat.
