uPVC Sash Classic and Elite Colours
Our Classic uPVC sash windows make your home warmer, quieter and safer. The energy efficiency rating is A+. The corners of this window are stronger and last longer because of the mitred welded joints. The window frame has chamfered beading for a modern appearance. You can choose to upgrade with decorative horns, gold or chrome furniture, or glazing effects like Georgian bars.
We make our Elite uPVC sash windows to resemble traditional Victorian sash windows. They are A rated as standard. They have a deep bottom rail that is 105mm thick and a slimline rail that is 39mm thick where the panes meet. The profiles are butt-joined mechanically and the internal beading looks like you would find in a wooden sash frame. Elite uPVC sliding sash windows are good for homes in conservation areas. In these areas, you need special permission to change windows according to Article 4.

Our classic sash uPVC windows are very energy efficient with an A+ rating. Our Elite uPVC sash windows are also energy-efficient, with an A rating. Robust seals around each sash make them draught-free and weathertight. The sashes, frame and sills have a thermal break. This reduces heat or cold transferring between the sides of the frame. It also lessens heat loss and improves energy efficiency.

Elite uPVC SashElite uPVC sliding sash windows have the Secured by Design seal. This police initiative states that homes meeting these standards have a 75% lower chance of break-ins. Two aluminium security blocks on the top sash prevent someone from forcing it open. Elite uPVC sashes are also reinforced with steel.
Our sash uPVC windows come with a 10-year guarantee. This guarantee is backed by insurance. Not all window companies offer this, so be on the lookout. The guarantee covers you if something goes wrong with your sash windows. We take care of the cost of repairing your windows, whether it is a partial or complete repair.

A uPVC sash window lock locks the two sashes together in the middle of the window. Our sliding sash windows have key lockable cam locks that do this. You can open the windows a little for air by using the key-lockable limit stops on the top sash. These stops protect the mechanism and prevent the sashes from sliding past each other.
