“With strong roots in Norwich, supporting our community's health and wellbeing while fostering a sense of togetherness is something which brings us great joy. This run is a great way of raising funds for local charities whilst keeping people in the community active and helping to improve mental health, something we're incredibly passionate about.

“We're proud that our funds can help bring this event to life for another year and we're looking forward to cheering along our team of Anglian runners on the day."

Ian Thornton OBE, the Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, said:

“We are delighted to have Anglian Home Improvements join us to co-headline Run Norwich for a second year and continue their support of our work.

“It is excellent that Anglian Home Improvements continue to contribute to their community. Without their support and many other partners, we simply couldn’t deliver Run Norwich.”

Anglian was first established in 1966 by George Williams when he opened a factory in Norwich. Over the last few decades, Anglian has grown to become a market leader, employing almost 1,400 people, and transforming the homes of more than two million UK customers.

Voted the Best 10k in the UK by the Running Awards, the Run Norwich route passes some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including Norwich Castle, The Forum, Norwich Cathedral, and many more.

The inaugural event took place in 2015, and since then tens of thousands of runners have taken to the city centre streets for the annual race, many of whom are new to running or fundraising for the Community Sports Foundation.
