When you get a set of keys for your Yale 3-star cylinder lock, you’ll also get a special Key Identification Card. Keep this card in a safe place. If you need more replacement keys, you have three options:
- Best option: Go to https://yalehome.co.uk/spares/spare-door-keys/ and choose the correct key. The website will guide you through the steps. You’ll need your Key Identification Card to enter your unique key reference from the back of the card.
- You can also call the number on your Key ID Card and ask for more keys. (Please note that there may be a cost for ordering more keys.)
- The Yale Platinum 3 Star Key is a special kind of key. If you need one right away, you can go to a locksmith who has the tools to make this kind of key. Make sure you get a genuine Yale key that meets the same requirements.
