Whichever window style you choose, in whichever material,
we have designed them to withstand forced entry by the opportunist thief with a
range of tried and tested, high-security features.
Unless you specify otherwise, or on fire egress windows,
all windows are fitted with key-lockable handles. On our uPVC casement
windows, for instance, these operate highly efficient shoot-bolts that hold
the window closed deep into the frame in at least two points adding extra
security against forced entry and helping keep the casement closed firmly into
the frame.
Our uPVC
windows are also internally glazed and beaded which makes it difficult for
the glass unit to be prised out from the outside.
Depending upon the location and always in accordance with
building regulations, we can also fit fire egress hinges and toughened glass
for extra security and safety.
