What furniture options are available for your doors?

To complete the look of your new door, you can select from a stylish range of door furniture such as handles and letter plates. All of our door furniture is available in Gold, Chrome, Black or White.

We can also fit spy holes, cat flaps and safety chains on to your door, as optional extras, if you require them.

How secure are your doors?

Each door is fitted with robust hinges and locking mechanisms, which, with the overall strength and rigidity of the leaf and frame, makes for a door that is extremely secure. The excellent multi-point locking system, which varies slightly between the different door materials, locks the door firmly into the frame in at least three positions.

On our PVC-U doors, the multi-point locking system incorporates three steel hook bolts, which are activated by a highly advanced security feature – a handle that resists levering or tampering and a cylinder lock from Yale, one of the world’s top names in security systems, that’s anti-bump, anti-pick, anti-drill and approved to BSEN1303:2005.

Can I have different glass in my door?

Yes we offer a range of glazing options for doors, there are effects such as Elizabethan Lead (a beautiful diamond pattern), Georgian Lead (a square/rectangular design), or you could go for Georgian inserts or stylish Cottage Bars.

If you don't want the leading, take it a step further with stained glass, brilliant diamond cut glass, bevelled or etched glass instead. Lovingly made by our craftsmen, we have a bewildering array of different styles, colours and effects to choose from.

Can you match my existing style and colour of door?

We have one of the widest ranges of doors available, from PVC-U, Aluminium, Glass Reinforced Polyester & wooden doors. As well as our extensive garage door range.

Can you provide doors suitable for disabled access?

Yes we can add a low threshold cill to a range of our doors to ensure that you can easily access your property.

Are your locks approved to contents insurance requirements?

The majority of Home Contents Insurance providers offer their policyholders a discount for having a satisfactory level of security at the home including key operated locks on accessible widows and an approved locking mechanism on their doors. Whilst we cannot comment on every insurance provider’s acceptance criteria we are satisfied that the security measures within our windows and doors exceed the requirements of the vast majority.

Do you offer cat flaps in your doors?

Yes we can offer cat flaps for doors with a solid panel, we are unable to install catflaps in to glazed panels.

What happens after we have accepted the quote for our home improvements?

Once you’re happy with your quote, one of Anglian’s professional surveyors will call at a time that suits you to carry out a detailed survey. We’ll take photographs of your original windows, detail rights of way and check what access equipment will be needed. For a step by step guide click here.

Do you offer an extended guarantee?

Yes, Anglian offer Guarantee Plus, an extended guarantee which will cover you once your original guarantee has run out. If your guarantee has expired and you would like to extend please call us on 0800 988 9396 or email us at customer.services@angliangroup.com.

Does Anglian have an insurance backed guarantee?

Yes we do offer an insurance backed guarantee known as the Anglian Guarantee Insurance Scheme. Anglian is a registered member of FENSA and amongst other building regulations it stipulates that all customers must be offered insurance that covers their replacement window and door installation in the event of the company ceasing to trade. Unfortunately the industry has a history of small and medium sized companies becoming insolvent leaving customers with worthless guarantees and major expense when any rectification work has to be carried out. This new regulation has been put into force to help protect consumers if this happens.

How much does the Anglian Guarantee Insurance Scheme cost?

The cost of the 10 year policy is only £42.40 as a 'one-off' payment - that equates to just £4.20 per year. To apply for this scheme you need to complete the application form that is mailed out to you after you've placed an order.

Why can't you give me a price online?

Every one of our products is bespoke. This means they are tailor-made specially for your home and because of this we cannot give you an approximate price online – it would be impossible to give you an accurate figure.

How long will the visit from the sales adviser take?

We usually advise you to allow at least an hour, but this will depend on your individual requirements. At an appointment we will measure up, discuss the styles and options that suit you and your needs, and then provide you with a quote tailored to your specifications.

How long does the installation take?

We usually advise you to allow at least one to two days, but this will depend on the number and type of doors you choose. Please ask our sales advisor for more details.

When will I need to pay for my improvements?

A deposit for the improvements may be required and then the balance will be due on completion of the installation.
