Classic StyleModern Finish & Efficiency
The O’Halloran’s house is the best part of 200 years old and has style and character with attractive white timber sash windows all around. The main concern with replacing the windows was retaining the style and appeal of the originals.
Paul explains: “We had six windows that needed replacing because they were in quite a poor state of repair. They were old – possibly up to 100 years old.” They opted keeping to hard wood as the main material, and matching the six new windows with the other windows in the property, which was built around 1800.
Anglian were able to cope with the odd measurements and ‘unsquare’ corners of the old property to produce wooden double-glazed sash windows and ensure a precise fit.
“From our point of view the whole thing went very well,” says Paul. “The windows and the hard wood sills look very good. We have been very impressed with the windows and the service we received.”
