Beginning this summer, we’re launching an exciting nationwide appeal to show our support for community sports clubs with the help of Olympic gold medallist Sam Quek MBE! We want to hear from you if the local sports club you play, coach or cheer from the sidelines for would benefit from kit sponsorship worth a fantastic £300.
From kicking their first ball on the village green to picking up a hockey stick for the first time in the school sports hall and playing badminton in the back garden, all our sporting greats must start somewhere, and a passion for sport usually has its roots right at the heart of our local communities.
At Anglian, we want to show our support for the many clubs that are encouraging participation in sport in communities up and down the country, most of which are run by volunteers. We also want to help inspire all those that play sport on a local level, and are enjoying all the benefits this can bring.
All community sporting clubs are eligible to apply for one of 20 kit sponsorships worth £300. From school teams to senior squads – and everything in between – we want you to get in touch if your team needs kitting out and you’d like to start the new season in style!
If you think your team would welcome a helping hand from Anglian, simply fill in the form below. Alternatively, you can send an email with “Support for Sport 2018” in the subject header to [email protected], including the following information:
1. Contact details; include a name and address, telephone number and email address.
2. Team information; include the team name, sport played and ages of players.
3. Tell us in your own words why your team is a worthy winner; give us a little background information or tell us your team’s story in-brief so we can understand why we should consider your application.
Don’t delay, as all applications must be submitted by 23:59 on Sunday 29th July 2018!
Following judging, 20 lucky winners will be chosen by a panel that includes Olympic hockey player Sam Quek MBE. Each team will receive £300 towards a brand new kit for the season ahead. Successful applicants will be notified by telephone or email by Friday 17th August 2018. Click here for full terms and conditions.
