Anglian Home Improvements is the latest company to be accredited with the esteemed Made in Britain marque.
Designed to help consumers quickly and easily recognise British made products, the Made in Britain marque is accredited to businesses that sell goods that have been manufactured or have undergone a final substantial change in Great Britain before sale.
Anglian Home Improvements manufactures a wide range of home improvement products at its factory in Norwich, which covers over 300,000 square feet. It installs over 4,800 windows and more than 600 doors every week, has been in business for almost 50 years, and is responsible for the employment of 6,000 people across the UK. The Made in Britain marque will now cover all of Anglian’s windows and doors; conservatories, orangeries and extensions; rooftrim; flat roofs; driveways; and more.
Melanie McDonald, Head of Marketing and Communications at Anglian Home Improvements, said, “Achieving the Made in Britain accreditation, which showcases the best in British manufacturing, is an important endorsement for us as a business. As a company that has been manufacturing its own products for almost half a century, Anglian Home Improvements is proud of its British heritage and is focused on raising the standard across the industry.”
James Bradshaw, one of the directors of Made in Britain, said, “It’s great to see Anglian Home Improvements championing the way for British brands. Made in Britain is all about highlighting and celebrating those companies that manufacture here in the UK, creating jobs and making it easy for consumers to identify and buy British products. As a nationally recognised organisation and a market leader in its sector, it’s a real boon for us that Anglian Home Improvements has come on board, helping to spread the word about high quality British manufacturing.”
To celebrate achieving this accreditation Anglian Home Improvements is holding a competition to win a Pashley bicycle worth up to £1000. To enter, post a picture on Anglian’s Facebook or Twitter page of something that you have made in Britain (it could be furniture, food, a shed, anything you like, as long as it’s made in Britain) along with why you would like to win a Pashley bike.
