Every year there are amazing and beautiful Christmas decorations and home products to choose from to decorate your home and supplement your displays. These are usually centred around an interior design theme – here are just a few of our favourite decorations and themes…
This year there has been a mini invasion of the cutest woodland animals you can think of, as an extension of the continuing popularity of animals and bird motifs and patterns within home interior design. These include owls, foxes, stags, hedgehogs, squirrels, birds, bears and, of course, reindeer. Decorate your home with real holly, pine cones, tree branches, snow and wood based decorations to make sure your furry and feathered friends feel at home!
Tartan and check
For cosy winter nights by the fire or gathered around the Christmas tree, the tartan and check theme is perfect – it makes me feel Christmassy immediately! This interior design trend has been on the high street this year, with statement chairs, rugs and soft furnishings in abundance this autumn, so why not extend the style to Christmas!? I’m loving the tartan robin!
No Christmas décor is complete without some bling! This year gold and silver is joined by the totally cool copper.

Metallics are so versatile. They can be the theme for a white and snowy décor, with a mix of pale pink shades, bringing in one of the key spring summer colours.
Or metallic decorations look equally as stunning when complemented with black accessories and a dark backdrop – like stars shining in the Christmas night sky!
Iconic red and white
Nothing says traditional Christmas décor more than red and white, with a Scandinavian twist. From decorations, to soft furnishings, to kitchenware, this style is iconic, timeless, warm and inviting.
No need to just dream of a white Christmas, as the classic song says, make it a reality in your home with this crisp and cool choice of décor. Fake snow is a must, but you could warm it up with some cosy accent colours, such as this burnt orange from Marks and Spencer.
Accessorise your white Christmas by incorporating other themes – metallic silver and white woodland animal decorations, polar bear cushions, silver and white metallic wrapping paper and faux fur throws. Wonderful!
Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year to you all.
