Anglian Home Improvements go racing by ‘Raising The Standard Handicap’
Anglian Home Improvements was proud to sponsor a horse race at Great Yarmouth Race Course recently the ‘Anglian Home Improvement Raising The Standard Handicap’ and send congratulations to the special guest for the day, David Moss.
This was a joint celebration arranged by Nicola Smith, from the Compliance department at Anglian, who spent the day at the races in a private box to help celebrate her father David Moss’s, 70th birthday with close family and friends.
Nicola said that “this was a surprise for Dad, and his first time at the races. Unfortunately, it rained all afternoon, but it did not dampen their spirits and they enjoyed the day together despite the rain.
We often say ‘come on No. 4 you time is up’! Well on this occasion it was to come in at 16:30 Yarmouth”
There were seven horses in the race and the winner was scheduled to receive £7,250 prize money”.
And they’re off, with great anticipation from everyone standing on the balcony…
Nicola and her father were thrilled to be able to present the prize to the winner on this special day.

Nicola reminded her Dad that a trip to the races did not usually include a private box and balcony, so that he wouldn’t be disappointed if he went again in the future.
Nicola said that “Overall it was a fun day out, but sadly there were no winners”
We are pleased that everyone had a great day at the races and will dad well for many more happy years watching the races.
