One of the most talked about events happening in Norfolk kicks off this Friday. With the likes of Dumbfoundus, Ame Just Sing, Crumbs for Comfort, Feral Mouth and DJ Tonic all playing, you DO NOT want to miss Oxjam!
24 bands and DJ’s will be flooding Karma Kafé to help raise money for the global charity Oxfam. Oxfam go to those countries that aren’t as fotunate as the UK, helping them overcome poverty and suffering.
The mini festival is only £5 for entry or £4 for students, with all proceeds going to Oxfam. Surprisingly, it is cheaper entry than quite a few other local clubs, and with an array of quality local bands and DJ’s on offer, it is probably worth a lot more. Not only that you are doing your bit for charity, whilst having an amazing night out! You even get a wristband like you do at all of the big festivals just to give it that extra special touch, and show you are helping support Oxfam.
Anglian Home Improvements arranged for the posters, flyers and t-shirts to be made, which look fantastic! I went along to the photo shoot that would be used for the posters and flyers, and even got some cool pictures of myself posing in front of the graffiti background.
So, I hope to see everybody at Karma Kafé from 7pm onwards. I will be there too, so come say hello and maybe your face will be on the blog next week?!
