Norwich City got their third win of the season against a tough Swansea City team that were keen to snatch all 3 points.
Before the game Marc Tierney was awarded the Anglian Home Improvements Player of the Month award for his brilliant performances through the month.
Pilkington, a £2m signing from Huddersfield soon proved his worth, within just 50 seconds to put Norwich 1-0 up! Steve Morison knocked down Elliot Bennett’s cross at the back post to find Pilkington, who struck the ball on the half volley past Vorm in goal.
8 minutes later saw Swansea go 2-0 down when Russell Martin found himself unmarked as he got on the end of David Fox’s cross, and he made no mistake at nodding the ball in.
Swansea hit back straight away though as they raced up the other end, and Scott Sinclair worked hard to keep the ball in down the left and find Graham who smashed the ball in from 6 yards.
The chances continued to flow for Norwich though and it was Pilkington who got on the score sheet again, when the ball dropped to Johnson who laid it off for Pilkington to cleverly swivel and poke home from 8 yards. 3-1
