Anglian Cycle For British Heart Foundation

James Wilson and a team of 17 others gave up their Sunday to ride either 50 or a staggering 100 miles to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

James and 2 other dedicated men decided to ride the full gruelling 100 miles, which sees the riders go from the centre of Norwich to the glorious Norfolk coastline, taking some scenic routes along the way.

The other 15 respectively chose to ride 50 miles in their bid to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, helping them in their battle against heart and circulation disease, which is a major cause of premature death.

One of the riders managed to complete the 50 miles in two and a half hours, which is an astonishing time, giving him an average speed of 20mph! Despite Sunday being quite a warm day, the 100 mile trio managed a brilliant total riding time 0f 6 hours, telling me, “it was a great day” and that the breeze in Sheringham was well needed!

In total the 18 of them have managed to raise approximately £2000, with Anglian Home Improvements generously donating £300 to the cause.

Well done everyone for completing the ride, I don’t think I could have done it! 🙂
