Nottingham is holding this year’s Anglian British Judo Championship for 10 and 11 year olds on Sunday 9th October. The Harvey Hadden Sports Centre will see 146 young, talented judo players compete to be crowned the national champion.
Nottingham is one of the most popular counties for British judo, and managed to beat off competition from cities such as Birmingham to hold this prestigious event, with 68 clubs being represented.
With the most entries received in 6 years, people are travelling from Wales, Scotland and across England to compete and see this national competition.
The Anglian British Judo Championship will be a memorable day, inviting families to attend, with entry priced at £3 for adults and free for children!
Gold medallists will receive a free blue judogi from JudoStore, which is the official merchandise outlet for British Judo.
Koka Kids, the leading children’s judo magazine, will be given to every competitor for free, which will then be sent to all British Judo Association members aged 12 and under, again for free!
Good luck to all of those competing!
