• Full compliance with all relevant industry bodies including British Standard BS 6375 part 1, which tests a window's ability to withstand the elements thereby reducing heating bills and keeping rooms warm and draft-free.

As our timber is vacuum impregnated with anti-fungal preservative, they'll last for many years to come, and to help prolong the life of your wooden door we also recommend the following maintenance regime:

• Wipe down your frames twice a year to remove any contaminants and remove any bacteria that may attack the micro-porous coated surface.
• At some point repainting will be required, although it is not possible to be precise as to when this will be. As a guide and provided the door is regularly cleaned our wooden doors would not normally require repainting for 7 years with paint finishes and 5 years for stain finishes.
