Anglian employees provide Christmas salvation
Giving at Christmas is a tradition practiced by big-hearted employees at Anglian Windows with a gift of £5,000 to the Salvation Army.

Instead of receiving a Christmas bonus, employees at the country's number one home improvement company vote to see who will benefit from a seasonal present.
Nominations are put forward for charities to enter a ballot, and then employees are invited to vote.
This year the Salvation Army topped the polls and on 28 November divisional commander Major Jonathan Roberts, received the cheque from Nottingham sales manager Mal Stevens, at the Army's Headquarters at Chilwell Meadows Business Park, Nottingham.
"We are grateful to the staff of Anglian Home Improvements for their very kind donation. It will be used to bring some Christmas cheer to many of the homeless people that we work with." said Major Roberts.
"It is becoming a tradition at Anglian that our employees say a thank you to the people who give their time and efforts to help other people." said communications director Melanie Russell.
"The Salvation Army was a popular choice because we know something of the valuable work they will be carrying out not only over Christmas but during the year.
"Staff at out Northampton Abington Square showroom were pleased to hand over the cheque on behalf of our employees in manufacturing, and salesrooms and depots throughout the country."
Since its inception in 1865, the Salvation Army has grown to work in 111 countries providing services as diverse as drug rehabilitation centres, schools, hospitals and centres for the homeless.
This Christmas its members will be visiting elderly housebound people who are lonely, providing lunches at centres to bring together people who would otherwise spend Christmas on their own, and giving hot food, sleeping bags and small gifts to homeless people.
The other charity to benefit this year from the largess of Anglian folk is the RNLI, which also received £5,000.
