Why the show cannot be missed
The finishing touches to a room can transform it from dull to extraordinary, so you will easily find yourself completely indulged in the fantastic array of unique products in the Grand Interiors Hall.
With hundreds of furnishings that aren’t necessarily available on the high street on display, you will find inspiration to renovate the living room or to revive a current room’s design. From tables and chairs to lighting and accessories, there is plenty to see. We recommend you visit the Grand Interior Room Sets where three top stylists, Karen Price, Maxine Brady and Sophie van Winden, have created rooms to show you how to meet your needs depending on which generation of home owner you are.
They have focused the rooms on inspiration for first time buyers and new builds, young families extending their homes and older families looking to update their homes. Each designer has been given one of these generations aiming to only use products from British retailers, manufacturers and designers to create the rooms, thus making all products easily accessible from either the show itself or online.
You may struggle to find an exhibition that has as much knowledge when it comes to building as this one. The Grand Build Hall is jam packed with incredible products to help your project go to plan. Whether you’re renovating, extending or building from scratch, there is a huge selection of self-build suppliers on hand to offer you advice.
Talking of advice, should you want to speak to someone about your project and see how they recommend you to continue, you can have a free consultation in the Ask An Expert area. Architects, interior designers, builders and project managers are on hand throughout the show.
I think a house truly becomes a home when your garden is linked with your home, bringing you closer to the natural world from the comfort of your kitchen or living room. To do this, you need a glorious garden, something that is not amiss in the Grand Gardens area.
This awe-inspiring section will have your green fingers twitching desperate to get home and make your garden an action packed area of your home.
If you are at the show on opening day, make sure you watch the Garden Designer of the Year Competition, judged by Kevin McCloud and James Alexander-Sinclair.
You can find Anglian Home Improvements in this section on stand G310.
Just as a reminder, don’t forget to enter this fantastic competition to win a 30 minute consultation with George Clarke, all you have to do is ‘Like’ the Anglian Home Improvements’ Facebook page and comment on the Facebook competition post the project you’d like to discuss with George Clarke.
