Little Growers Love Their New School Garden

By on 6th June in Garden

Anglian Home Improvements recently donated £300 to Kinsale Infant School to help them buy new equipment, seeds and soil for them to grow their own fruit, vegetables and plants, learning life skills and biology along the way.

I was lucky enough to receive a lovely scrap book of thank you’s and pictures of the work the children have been doing. They have been growing strawberries, flowers and learning how to prepare them once fully grown.

The money donated by Anglian has given them so much equipment they now have a shed to store them in. They already have some mini greenhouses, which have given some beautiful results by the looks of their brightly coloured flowers.

From everyone at Anglian, well done on creating some gorgeous flower beds and we hope that the skills you have acquired now will help you through life!
