Laura Ashley Winners & Dream Room Competition Round Up

By on 1st September in Featured, Fun

You may have seen (and even entered!) the competition hosted on the Dear Designer blog giving you the chance to win an Anglian Home Improvements door with Laura Ashley decorative glass worth £1,000. Well, it’s time to announce the winner and the 5 runners up of £100 Laura Ashley vouchers.

The Winner

Congratulations Emma Biddulph you are the winner of the Anglian door with Laura Ashley decorative glass!!

Emma’s entry was a detailed account of her ‘Dream Room’ with lots of pictures that all suited the theme and, we imagine, when they’re all put together, the room would look incredible! Our favourite piece shared was most definitely the Dapper Dogs bed linen.

The Runner’s up

Emma was the grand winner of the Anglian door with Laura Ashley decorative glass, but we also gave 5 runners up £100 worth of Laura Ashley vouchers! So, below are the 5 lucky runners up and their ‘Dream Room’ blog posts.

Jess Wood’s account of her dream reading and writing room was pretty inspirational, with secret doorways being an awesome theme which we loved.

Jade Pembridge wrote about her dream bedroom featuring a grand centre piece bed, a gorgeous wardrobe and a way to have a TV in your bedroom without compromising space!

Sarah Eaglesfield‘s dream room was a vibrant affair with bright pinks and deep purples complemented with simple, white furniture and patterned wallpaper. We think if this room was to be created it would be a creative and spirited bedroom.

Izzie Anderton decided to create her dream multi-functional living room to have a space where the adults can relax and unwind, whilst also making it a fun family room.

Our winner Emma Webb continued the Scandinavian neutral theme we’ve seen throughout all of our ‘dream room’ entries choosing a Laura Ashley powder grey paint with floral wallpaper for her dream bedroom. This was again complemented with bursts of purple with the carpet, whilst the bed linen was a chic, floral design in a gentle biscuit colour. Bunting was a cute added accessory we loved!

Massive thanks to everyone who took the time to enter, we have enjoyed reading every single post! Make sure you check back into Good to be Home for more competitions and interior design ideas – the best way to keep up to date with us is to follow us on Facebook or Twitter.
