Anglian take on the Philippines in Loughborough

The Anglian Home Improvements sponsored Loughborough Dynamos under 11 boys football team took on the Philippines national team on Saturday at Loughborough University. It was a very entertaining game with goals at both ends of the pitch.

Manager Kenny Robinson, an employee for Anglian, had managed to arrange a summer match against the visiting National team and he was very proud of their performance in front of a crowd of over 1,000 people.

The team that play in green and white hoops put up a good challenge, but the game ended 2-1 to the Philippines, with Cameron Smith scoring for Loughborough. Tye Robinson will feel unlucky not to have equalised for Loughborough as he hit the cross bar.

In a recent tournament the team managed to reach the semi-finals, so they are having a fantastic summer of football, which will hopefully transpire into the season ahead.
