Roller Garage Doors
There are rather a lot of benefits to Anglian roller doors – and a great choice of colours is only one of them.
They are made from aluminium sections that are filled with foam to provide good sound-insulation which, added to the high performance weather stripping, gives superb thermal insulation too – just right if you use your garage for more than just the storage of your car. Channels which guide the doors up and down are fitted to the brickwork behind the opening. This means you don’t need a door frame thus widening the opening by up to 150mm (6”) – great if you have a wider car – as well as reducing draughts.
But think of this: because the door rolls up on to a drum above the opening, you have full access to the roof space of the garage, even when the door is open. It means also that they can be fitted to almost any size or shape of opening, even arched tops, and you can park right up against the door without impeding opening – great for shorter drives or if you keep a number of cars at home.
These attractive, quiet doors are all electrically operated for the utmost in luxury and convenience, and include a light, which automatically switches on when the door is opened. They are secure too as they have no locks to be tampered with and anti-lift geometry locking straps which prevent the door from being forced open from the bottom, backed up by an efficient in-built anti-tamper alarm system, fitted as standard to Anglian roller doors.
They operate absolutely safely too. The advanced obstacle detection system will detect any obstruction when the door is opening or closing: for instance, if a person or a vehicle is below a closing door, the door immediately stops on detecting the obstruction.
