1Design and Quotation

Call in an Anglian Garage Conversion Designer. He or she will take nominal measurements, answer your questions and give you a free, no obligation quotation.
2Survey

A detailed survey follows. Our surveyor will check the site for things like drainage runs and floor levels, and take accurate measurements needed for design and conversion.
3Detailed drawings

We convert your site survey into an architectural drawing detailing all the requirements of your conversion.
4The Law

Planning Permission and 3rd party approvals. Anglian will apply for these approvals where required.
5Building Regulations

We use a specialist building control agency to inspect and certify your building works to ensure full compliance with Building Regulations.
6Manufacture

Your new doors and windows are created.
7Removal

The existing door is removed and, where necessary, a new concrete lintel will be installed to ensure sound foundations for your new wall.
8External wall built

A new external wall is created, using bricks to match your home, and the shape of your new room is complete.
9Walls and Ceilings

Skilled tradesman will dry line walls and ceilings incorporating insulation where necessary to comply with Building Regulations.
10Flooring

To ensure the floor is suitable for domestic use we lay a new floor that features a protective membrane and insulation underneath for warmth and protection.
11Windows

Your new Anglian windows are fitted, making the room watertight and weatherproof.
12Additional requirements

At this stage we fit patio or French doors and knock through to your existing home to join the rooms together.
13Walls plastered

By skimming or plastering the walls we will create a smooth finish to your room which is then ready for decoration.
14Finishing touches

Completing the electrics, lighting and all the little things that truly turn a room into an enjoyable living space.
15Completion

Your new room is complete and ready for you to start decorating.
16After sales service

Our guarantees cover your garage conversion, base and site works and are transferable if you decide to move. They include parts and labour and there are no call-out charges or hidden extras.

From the moment that you contact us we’ll be working to design and build you the room of your dreams.

After we have visited your home to undertake a site survey, we will produce a set of drawings to show you how your new conversion will look. Once that is agreed and you are entirely happy with the design and layout, we will apply for all necessary planning permissions on your behalf. We will arrange a time convenient to you for us to start and our team of highly-skilled craftsmen will commence work.

Throughout the process, disruption will be kept to a minimum. When it’s all over we’ll finish off properly, making good where necessary, tidying the site, cleaning up and leaving your wonderful new garage conversion ready for you to make your own and enjoy to the full in just the way that you’ve imagined.
